This ensures that it will smoke perfecty from the start and with proper care, will never lose its original sweetness. The mouthpiece is cut from block vulcanite which, although tough, is easy on the teeth and does not flavour the smoke. Hand-polishing enhanves the beauty of the natural grain, giving the pipe-bowl a lustre that only improves with age and usage.
Although scarcity of fine briar has necessitated the pricing of Dunhill Pipes according to the amount of root employed in their manufacture, it is important to remember that irrespective of size and price, they are of one quality only - the finest.
